No Cord, No Compromise: Leister’s NexHeat 300 A-LP
Anyone who has worked on a flat roof knows the friction well — trailing cables across uneven surfaces, hunting for a power outlet, and the constant risk of tripping hazards in an already demanding environment. Hot air welding has long been a go-to method for sealing and repairing roofing membranes, but being tethered to a cord has always imposed limits on where and how efficiently the work gets done.
Leister Technologies has addressed this with the NexHeat 300 A-LP, a fully battery-operated hot air blower built for professional roofing, flooring, and civil engineering applications. Running on the Bosch AMPShare battery platform, it delivers temperature control from 50 to 500°C — adjustable in 5°C increments — and five stages of airflow adjustment, giving operators precise, repeatable results across a range of membrane types including PVC, TPO, and modified bitumen. An ergonomic grip, intuitive digital display, and built-in safety features make it practical for all-day site use.
To help roofing professionals understand how the NexHeat 300 A-LP performs in practice, Leister’s expert roofing team has published a dedicated white paper on wireless flat roof repair. As New Zealand’s authorised Leister distributor, CARR New Zealand is pleased to share this resource with the roofing professionals we work alongside. If you’d like to discuss whether the NexHeat 300 A-LP is the right tool for your application, our technical team is ready to help.
