The Sign & Banner Expo, held in Auckland from 17 to 19 June 2026, gave Carr the perfect opportunity to showcase the Leister Seamtek W-900 AT welding machine. As New Zealand’s only official distributor and repair centre for the Seamtek, we relish every chance to show off the tools and solutions we provide.
Leister’s Seamtek W-900 AT is a true one-of-a-kind machine, designed to be configured to your exact specifications. At the show, we demonstrated welding Carr’s own new PVC-free Future Banner — a product that, until now, has been a challenge to weld using traditional methods. The Seamtek’s low-voltage wedge delivered the stable, precise temperature needed to keep weld quality consistent throughout.
Why the low-voltage wedge makes a difference:
- Faster, safer transitions — it heats only during welding and cools quickly afterward, minimising the health and safety risks of waiting on a hot air wedge to heat up or cool down.
- Simple speed adjustment – through the foot pedal controls
