Working through COVID-19

Update: Thursday, August 26, 2021

In light of the Government’s directives and with Auckland currently in Alert Level 4, we want to advise how CARR is responding to COVID-19 and what this means for our business partners.

CARR Group supplies products into a range of industries including the Healthcare Sector. Also, as a Transitional Facility, we are required to manage and facilitate the throughput of cargo. As was confirmed by the Ministry of Transport, a business can have a warehouse open to receive freight and our workplace will ensure safety protocols are met in regards to social distancing and mask use etc. This is allowed for under clause 18.2.c of the Public Health Response Order No 9 2021.

We will continue operating with minimum staff onsite for business continuity, to keep essential equipment and products moving whilst adhering to safe hygiene practices with safe clear zones. The majority and rest of our team continue to operate remotely providing ongoing support to our business partners during normal business hours.

We are still able to take online and phone orders for essential consumer products. Orders will be contactless, including payment and delivery.

This is obviously a developing situation and like most businesses, we will continue to operate in good faith and will be adhering to Government instructions as they are provided, along with following the most up to date information available from the COVID-19 website.
