CARR New Zealand proudly attended this year’s annual Floor NZ Awards on Friday, 18 September 2025, at the Waipuna Lodge Convention Centre, celebrating the outstanding achievements of flooring businesses and applicators across New Zealand.
CARR was delighted to support the Apprentice of the Year Level 3 award via the contribution of a Triac AT Flooring kit, which was presented to the well deserving award winner, Charle Gruppelaar of TAK Flooring in Dunedin. Charle also received the Supreme Apprentice of the Year Award, while his employer, TAK Flooring, was honoured with the Employer of the Year Award.
CARR New Zealand remains committed to supporting the training and development of apprentices in the flooring industry. We continue to partner with the Flooring School in Christchurch, providing a wide range of Leister tools and accessories for students to use during courses that require hot air welding.
Congratulations to Jeff Henry and the team at Floor NZ and the Flooring School for consistently producing highly skilled graduates who are entering the flooring industry with strong practical experience.
We would also like to thank David Lafaele and the BCITO team for organising such a well-executed and inspiring event for the flooring community.
CARR looks forward to continuing its involvement and support in the flooring sector into 2026 and beyond.
